This tall and narrow residential property, in a highly desirable location, comprises the upper parts of retail premises. Our commercial property owning client asked our architects and design team to create a rental property ‘of real character’. Our in house interior design team took on all sourcing and installations in addition to the architectural redesign and construction. The only limit was our imagination.
We inserted a generous roof light into the top floor to bring in as much light as possible. A small and practical laundry was installed on a landing, with a smart study on the other landing, creating a truly enchanting and unique property with two bedrooms on the top floor with ensuite bathrooms, and an extremely generous master suite on the middle floor. To our client’s delight, the property let for fifty percent more than their agents had initially estimated its rental value within days.
