The owners had lived in this lovely house (one of the most beautiful in Chelsea, with a vast secret garden), for some years, making minor adjustments as their family grew. When we met, they were ready to unlock the house’s true potential as a family home.
We remodeled the lower ground floor to create a large space with the kitchen at the centre, dining and TV rooms at either end, and a temperature controlled cellar to house a collection of fine wine. We linked the house to the garden with large bi-fold doors leading to stone clad terraced steps to the lawn and swimming pool beyond. We breathed new life into the ground floor, used frequently for entertaining, with new lighting, a bar, additional bookcases and a superb sound system. The result is a stunning home for both entertaining and family life, realising the full potential of this magnificent house.
