It is great to be able to start anew with your interior design. There is nothing quite like having a blank slate to work with because you know that you can explore all sorts of different opportunities and there is nothing to hold you back.
Of course, this kind of thing doesn’t happen all that often, but it can happen when you move into a new house in London. This is purely because moving into a new place gives you the chance to effect a full renovation before you get settled – something that is hard to accomplish in other circumstances because it disrupts your life a bit too much.
After renovating, you are often left with a truly blank slate. The walls, ceilings and floors are all of a really high standard. They are clean and new and they are just waiting for the embellishment that comes from a really active approach to interior design.
In the meantime, you can focus your attention on considering the types of interior design that will suit your new home best, whether you want something minimalistic, something rich and luxurious or something entirely different.
